A smart and useful interactive map has just been put online notably for French-speaking students who want to pursue their postsecondary studies in French. You will find universities throughout Ontario and Canada that offer courses and learning supports in French, also for second-language learning.

This cyber tool has been created from a study published by the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages. It reveals that while many universities in Canada offer a range of second-language learning programs and courses, there are serious gaps and unmet needs.

This makes my federal colleague say that Canadian youth need more second-language opportunities at universities. For sure, the real second-language learning goes beyond the classes for university students. Taking this into consideration, I believe that universities in Ontario can easily draw from the plenty potential of the Francophone communities to support and integrate students who want to pursue their studies in French.
